The Gathering Storm expansion adds Environmental Effects, Engineering Projects, Power and Consumable Resources, the World Congress, and a new Diplomatic Victory condition. The New Frontier Pass introduces six new game modes including recruitable heroes from history and myth, Apocalypse Mode with natural disasters, and secret societies that can either aid or hinder your empire. The Leader Pass offers 18 new ways to play by introducing 12 new leaders and six new personas, each with unique abilities.
